Spring is Just Around the Corner
And I’m totally happy about it. But even if the calendar says that spring officially starts in March or whether the groundhog saw its shadow or not, I still feel like the winter breeze is still here to stay. I live in the southern region in the states, so it surprised me when it snowed for the past three days.
Just as I was ready to rearrange my wardrobe and plan for my spring outfits, I found it funny that I felt like I needed an extra winter coat to help me survive the last few weeks of the cold. So I rushed to the nearby shopping mall that has the best selections in the small city that I live in, just to find that, the stores too, have realized that spring is just around the corner. The kind lady at Banana Republic remorsefully told me that their winter coats were all sold out and most likely most stores would be like that as well.
Luckily we live in a day in age where online shopping can be one of the most convenient places to do some last minute shopping or getting merchandise that would otherwise make you travel miles to get if it wasn’t for the internet.
Although I’m not the biggest fan of online shopping, I do find it fun because of all the choices you have compared to the limited selections you see in the stores. As most of us know, sizes vary from brand to brand, so I’m always a bit skeptical when buying online because of sizing issues and I’m also a picky buyer when it comes to material and fabric.
So it’s always nice when online stores like ModCloth even give you details as to the measurements of the waist, bust, and hip. I also enjoy shopping online when I can read valid comments about the certain product from other customers to get a feel of what I’m buying before hand.
As much as I dislike the stores for changing their items so quickly, I still understand, and am thankful for online shopping. In the meantime, I’ll be spending my lovely, but cold days, inside while

i can’t wait for spring either!
I agree, I’ve never shopped online before and I’m not sure I’ll ever be able to. For clothes at least. I’m too afraid of purchasing something that I haven’t had the opportunity to try on, and then it ends up looking awful = waste of money. :-/
Love that picture! Here in Australia we still have 7 more months until spring. Oh well, we’ll cope I suppose…at least it’s almost time for winter fashion. :)

Like I was just commenting back to you on my website, Anthropologie is brilliant. I love how easy it is to track how much their stuff goes down in price, and I love their ever growing stocks with a new monthly catalogue in rotation. It definitely, however, gives me a reason to spend more money and buy more clothing which I definitely do not need to do!
I definitely can’t wait for spring (or summer, for that matter!). I’ve never shopped online either (for clothes, anyway). I love the experience of going into the store and trying stuff on too much!
Spring is def a fav! So much colour, love it.
